22" vs 24" widescreen monitor

does anyone know if there is any distortions when playing games or viewing pics on a 22" ws since the resolution is like 1600?x1000? (forget exact specs). i know games dont support that resolution. im looking into getting a new ws and the 22" looks about the right size and cost but if stuff looks slightly stretched then i guess i have to go with the 24"

 thanks.

Most gamers say that the resolution is good if you read some of the reviews they definately reccomend the 22 inch so i don't think you would have much of a problem. However it is up to you weather you want the extra 2 inches

I went from a 17" CRT to the 22" LCD. Very pleased. Much better than I thought it would be. I have not used the 24" , I can only say that nothing has occurred with the 22" that caused me to think "oh, wish I had a bigger screen."

There are no USB ports or swivel , height adjustments on the Dell 22", only tilt.
